## Notes
When someone is sharing with your their pains or problems and you are on the receiving side of the conversation. What you need to do is to actively listening to understand the other person's perspective, feelings, needs, and requests, without judgment or interruption.
Most of the time you should be silent and actively listening, eventually reflecting back. You might ask a question using the [[zt - NVC summary#The four components of NVC]] asking something along the lines of:
"Are you feeling **feeling** today because you need **need**?"
