I built Coblan, a new company in the FinOps world...not again, I can hear you say (I would say it). So I am working hard to give Coblan a vision that is badly needed and original (like my glasses). It starts with a mantra (a very short sentence that is as full as my suitecase back from FinOps X): "Context is everything". I have built countless dashboards and data pipeline, but at one point or another that data goes through a spreadsheet. For good reason. Spreadsheets are the tool we use to adapt the data to our context. But spreadsheet are hard to build, harder to maintain and impossible to understand 3 days later. So, for a personal Open Source project, and inspired the mantra, Unix terminal and Moldable development, I wrote these Architecture Principles for my first project: my FinOps toolkit.
